A Partridge in a Pear tree
on the first day of Christmas...
Based on the folklore song " 12 Days of Christmas".
Here I have depicted the first line of the song: a partridge in a pear tree. Two turtle doves are awaiting there appearance and the dancing lady is way to early here. The series of ink and pencil illustrations will refer back and forth to each other. Everyone wants to shine with Christmas!
